About a month ago I asked about the cop who was charged for assaulting a cyclist in front of a bunch of high school kids. Apparently he was found not guilty last December.

“Justice John Ritchie said in his decision that Mr. Tierman was defending himself and his vehicle from the cyclist, who was going to use his bike as a weapon. Pursuant to Section 27 of the Criminal Code, the defendant was justified in using force to prevent the attack.”
All I can wonder is what would have happened if the cyclist *really* did just turn around beat the shit outta little Tierman(who was clearly the aggressor). Oh well, another treacherous verdict that poisons the public trust, one hand washes the other. At least NYC ditched the cyclist body-checker cop.. here the cyclist would be charged under section 27 of the criminal code EVEN with the video.
I bet those kids who filmed the whole thing are totally disenfranchised. Better they learn now that police are beyond justice’s reach it could keep them out of trouble.
